Process

All of my vessels are made using a white stoneware clay.  They are then fired in oxidation to cone 6 in an electric kiln.  

I'm so excited to announce that my wares are now produced using clean energy from the sun!  I've recently installed solar panels onto my roof.  These panels produce the energy needed to fire my kiln to cone 6, about 2240º F.

Besides getting my energy from the sun, I now use a glaze that is made from recycled wood ash.  I combine this wood ash in a glaze.   Here is an example of my newest glaze.
